In my own experience of motherhood, it’s been one of the hardest yet most fulfilling roles I’ve ever had. I stayed home for 14 years when my kids were little, constantly second-guessing myself and feeling like everyone else had it more together. What I didn’t realize at the time? We were all figuring it out as we went.

And somehow, we did it. We raised kids we’re proud of—kids who are now becoming parents themselves, learning and growing in their own ways.

So today, I celebrate all moms—biological, stepmoms, grandmothers, aunties, chosen family, and beyond. You are the heart of the home, and what you do matters more than you know.

While moms deserve to be celebrated every day, Mother’s Day is a chance to pause and say thank you. And while the best gifts are always love, time, and appreciation…a little something special doesn’t hurt either.
