Method
- Thaw hash browns and place in 9 x 13 casserole dish.
- Melt butter and pour over hash browns.
- Bake hash browns at 425 for 25 minutes.
- While hash browns are cooking, brown and drain sausage.
- Place over hash browns.
- Sprinkle cheese on top. (At this point, you may refrigerate overnight before going on to save time.)
- Beat eggs, milk and salt; pour over cheese.
- Bake uncovered at 350 for 40-45 minutes. Cooking time will be longer if it has been refrigerated.
