Hash Brown & Sausage Casserole

This is a great breakfast or brunch choice especially with it having a make-ahead option. It’s hearty--pair it with some fresh fruit and you have a full meal. Definitely a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 26oz Pkg. Shredded frozen hash browns
  • 1⁄2 C Margarine
  • 2 lbs Sausage
  • 2 C Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 Eggs
  • 1 C Milk
  • 1⁄2 tsp Lawry’s seasoned salt

Method
 

  1. Thaw hash browns and place in 9 x 13 casserole dish.
  2. Melt butter and pour over hash browns.
  3. Bake hash browns at 425 for 25 minutes.
  4. While hash browns are cooking, brown and drain sausage.
  5. Place over hash browns.
  6. Sprinkle cheese on top. (At this point, you may refrigerate overnight before going on to save time.)
  7. Beat eggs, milk and salt; pour over cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered at 350 for 40-45 minutes. Cooking time will be longer if it has been refrigerated.
